Last week Emma Watson, the UN Goodwill Ambassador, delivered a passionate speech on feminism for the United Nations prior to the launch of the #HeForShe campaign.

"Having seen what I've seen - and given the chance - I feel it's my duty to say something," Watson stated. The #HeForShe campaign aims to encourage 100,000 men to pledge their commitment to ending gender inequality.

This was an incredible, some labeling it game-changing, moment for feminism and the misconceptions of the word, it's meaning, and the future of women's rights. At GO'EL, we believe all girls deserve access to education, safety and the opportunity to choose their life.

Then this happened at the Chanel fashion show finale:

We will not say that all of the signs displayed at the Chanel show align with our mission or viewpoint, but it is certainly encouraging to see that fashion industry lending their voice to gender equality.
